These are the unique original Gouache paintings by Martin Asbury.

Martin Asbury's first work on Look-in was for the Follyfoot strip, taking over from Mike Noble. Martin employs a slightly more gritty style shown here in this action sequence.

Follyfoot was a co-production between the UK and a German production company. It was originally broadcast between 1971 and 1973. The basis of the series was that Follyfoot Farm looked after retired or hurt animals and was partially staffed by people who had been in some sort of trouble.

It had plenty to say about animal welfare and its target audience was more teenage than young girls going through their pony phase.

First published in Look-in issue 44, 1973.
