Wings Over the World was a series that ran in Look and Learn magazine during 1969. In this episode from the 24th May issue # 384 the story is told of how the designs used for World War II bombers became the basis for post war civil aircraft.

The examples shown A-D are: A) Avro Lancastrian from the Lancaster; B) Hanley Page Hatton from the Halifax; C) Avro York based in part on the Lancaster and D) Short "Hythe" formerly the Sunderland Flying Boat.
