This is the Signed unique original Cel by Belvision Studios (after Morris).

An original hand painted animation Cel which formed part of the cult animation feature length film 'Daisy Town'. This film cel was used in the final scene, as Lucky Luke rides into the sunset.

Lucky Luke is a Western bande dessinée series created by Belgian cartoonist Morris (Maurice De Bevere) in 1946. Morris wrote and drew the series single-handedly until 1955, after which he started collaborating with French writer René Goscinny, who also created the Astérix series. Their partnership lasted until Goscinny's death in 1977.

Daisy Town was a Franco-Belgian animated film and was Lucky Luke's first ever animated appearance - the plot was written by Rene Goscinny and most of the characters featured had appeared in the Lucky Luke albums drawn by Morris.

This Cel shows Lucky Luke smoking a Cigarette which is unique to these early animations as the cigarette was replaced with a piece of straw during the 1980s.

The Cel is accompanied by the animation studio tracing paper backing which has detailed colour notes and is signed by Rosaline in the bottom right.
