This is the unique original Mixed Media art by Ken Petts.

Irish rebels under the command of Gerald, Fourteenth Earl of Desmond. Though crippled and in ill-health Gerald and his band of Irish rebels always swept down on English forces when they least expected it.

His rebellion of 1579 was one of three uprisings against English occupation during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
